The Institute for Leadership Development (ILD) provides a wide variety of credentialing programs, professional development, and technical assistance for school and district office leaders in a variety of programs and services to meet the unique needs of schools and districts. Assistance is offered in critical areas of educational leadership including school reform, data driven decision making, vision setting and leadership development through coaching, mentoring, and resource matching.
In addition, the ILD provides a continuum of teacher development programs for Orange County, California. The Institute offers four programs for Orange County public school district employees and serves paraprofessionals seeking a teaching credential, novice teachers seeking a Multiple Subject or Education Specialist Credential, and experienced teachers seeking National Board Certification. The ILD participates in collaboration with representatives from 27 Orange County public schools and nine local public and private universities. Dr. Stephanie Schneider is the administrator of the Institute for Leadership Development.
